Dismissing reports that created an undue frenzy on social media, Starbucks Corporation, an American coffee company and coffeehouse chain, denied that it has any plans of entering Pakistan’s market. The report, which was originally run on a relatively unknown website, was picked up by various blogs and excited coffee-lovers eager to see the Seattle-based chain in the country.

Starbucks, a listed company on the NASDAQ stock market, denied the reports. “We have no plans at this time to open a store in Pakistan,” the company responded to a query from The Express Tribune.
