World's best and worst airports for 2016

A survey had ranked Islamabad airport on number nine on a list of the world’s 10 worst airports in 2015

The best airport terminals make traveling even more fun, while the worst airports can be your worst nightmare.

To help us determine which airports to choose and the time for layover, every year, “Sleeping in Airports” conducts a survey asking travelers to rate their airport experiences based on the services and facilities available within the terminal, cleanliness, customer service, comfort and their overall airport experience.

Islamabad airport ranked 9th worst in the world

This year, Jeddah King Abdulaziz International Airport, Saudi Arabia (JED), has been named as the worst airport in the world while the best one is Singapore Changi International Airport, Singapore (SIN).

The Benazir Bhutto International airport in Islamabad is no longer among the worst airports in the world, according to a new survey.

Islamabad airport has been in the list of the '10 worst airports in the World’ since 2012, In 2012, it was ranked as the third worst airport, in 2013 it ranked fourth and in 2014 it was categorised as the “worst airport in the world”. Last year, it ranked on number nine, however, this year's ranking does not include the capital's airport in the list.
