BAHAWALPUR:
All Punjab Water Management Employees Association staged protest demonstration in different districts of Punjab, including Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur and Rahim Yar Khan on Thursday against non-regularisation of employees. The protesters shouted slogans against the government and demanded of the authorities to regularise the poor employees. They lamented that more than 1,800 employees of water management had been working for the past 12 years on contract but they were not regularised. They threatened to go on hunger strike outside Punjab Assembly if their demand was not met.
