Awareness campaign: Tax drive planned in Abbottabad
Leaders of business community and media persons can play a key role in success of mass awareness campaign, Aslam said

Special teams will go door-to-door to check assets and returns besides imposing fines and blocking the national tax numbers of non-filers, Regional Chief Commissioner Income Tax Abbottabad Muhammad Aslam suggested on Thursday.
Presiding over a meeting of Income Tax Officers of Hazara division at regional income tax office, he directed all the officers to start a mass awareness campaign about importance of submission of annual returns and vowed to take strict action against non-filers.
The chief commissioner announced that a special desk would be established at regional income tax offices in Abbottabad, tax centres at Haripur and Mansehra where senior officers and staff would provide information to people and taxpayers about tax returns.
