News service: Express Media Group, Xinhua sign accord
China’s State Council Information Office’s deputy director general led the Chinese side
ISLAMABAD:
Express Media Group on Wednesday signed an agreement with China’s Xinhua news agency for provision of news service in a ceremony held at the Chinese Embassy. Express’s Chief Executive Officer Ejazul Haq, Group Editor Ayaz Khan, Islamabad’s Resident Editor Rao Khalid Mehmood and Express News Bureau Chief Aamir Ilyas Rana attended the ceremony. China’s State Council Information Office’s deputy director general led the Chinese side. The agreement was signed by Ayaz Khan and Xinhua’s bureau chief. Earlier, the Express Media Group and Chinese officials held detailed talks on the agreement. They concurred that the role of Pakistan and Chinese media was vital in connection with the multi-billion dollar China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
