Condemned India for illegal detention of Kashmiris, incarceration of Hurriyat leaders in torturous conditions

ISLAMABAD: The Council of Foreign Ministers of OIC on Wednesday adopted a strongly-worded resolution on grave human rights situation in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) and condemned India in the strongest possible terms for their atrocities on Kashmiris. The OIC foreign ministers met in Tashkent on Oct 18-19 for the 43rd session, according to a message received here.

While upholding Kashmiris’ right to self-determination in accordance with the UN Security Council resolutions, they reaffirmed OIC countries’ unwavering support to the just cause of the Kashmiri people, expressed deep concern and condemned in the strongest possible terms unabated killing of defenseless Kashmiris in IOK.
