‘Cases be dealt on merit’
The DPO said cleanliness should be maintained in police stations

All cases that are under investigation should be dealt with according to merit, while criminals should be presented before the court in order to provide justice to the victims.
These views were expressed by newly appointed Bahawalpur District Police Officer Ashfaq Ahmad Khan on Wednesday. He was speaking during a surprise visit at different police stations.
The DPO said cleanliness should be maintained in police stations, while records should be updated on a regular basis. He instructed the officials to maintain discipline in police stations and ordered the investigation officers to solve cases on priority.
