Lahore literary festival to debut in London  

This will be LLF’s second edition abroad this year

The Lahore Literary Festival (LLF) will make its debut in London at the British Museum’s BP Theatre on October 29.

“LLF in London will highlight the intellectual curiosity, confidence and openness that are the hallmarks of Lahore’s longstanding traditions,” announced LLF founder and chief executive Razi Ahmed in a press release.

Some renowned speakers include Tehmina Durrani, Faiza Butt, Hina Rabbani Khar, Sarmad Khoosat, Kashmiri writer Mirza Waheed, Turkish fiction writer Elif Shafak and Chatham House’s Dr Robin Niblett. This will be LLF’s second edition abroad this year. A two-day LLF debuted in New York in May as part of its three-year collaboration with Asia Society.
