Walk-in-interviews for appointment of both male, female medical officers in 25 districts will be held every Thursday

LAHORE: The recruitment of doctors and medical officers has started at District Headquarters (DHQ) and Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) hospitals across Punjab.

Walk-in-interviews for the appointment of both male and female medical officers in 25 districts will be held every Thursday at 11am at DCO office of the relevant district.

Primary and Secondary Health Secretary Ali Jan Khan said the candidates have been asked to apply through online applications, adding they will be appointed on the posts of physicians, gynecologists, surgeons, pediatricians, cardiologists, radiologists, pathologists, ENT specialists and ophthalmologists at the DHQ Hospitals in Bahawalnagar and Narowal.

Special salary packages will be offered to specialist doctors, keeping in view the distance of the hospital where they will be appointed, he said, adding that they would also get an additional incentive of Rs55,000 to Rs120,000.
