FAISALABAD: At least four people, including a woman, were killed in separate incidents on Monday. Police said Muhammad Waseem, 20, a resident of Chak No 592, was travelling on a motorcycle when it collided with a donkey cart. The man died on the spot. Fifty-year-old Khursheed Bibi and Muhammad Riaz were killed in another road accident in Faisalabad. Separately, armed men shot dead a farmer for putting up resistance during a robbery within the jurisdiction of Dijkot police station. Police said Muhammad Zakir, 50, was watering the fields when unidentified armed men snatched a mobile phone and Rs10,000 from him. When he resisted, the robbers opened fire at him and fled the scene.
