Second conference: PU to host linguistic studies seminar

LAHORE:
Punjab University Institute of Languages in collaboration with Pakistan Higher Education Commission will organise a three-day 2nd international conference of the Linguistic Association of Pakistan (ICLAP) on Tuesday.
The central theme of the conference is “Aspects and Approaches in Contemporary Linguistic Studies”. A large number of delegates from Islamabad, Karachi, Multan, Quetta, Peshawar, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi and other cities of the country will participate in the conference.
They will present their research work on language and linguistics before the interested participants. Students and young scholars of social sciences and humanities in general and of language and linguistics would benefit from the presence of renowned linguists and established scholars of the field at one place in the country. The opening ceremony of the conference will be held at on October 18 at the new campus of the university.
