In Loving Memory: Senior journalist passes away

His body was shifted to his native village

SUKKUR: A senior reporter of Sindhi daily Kawish, Shabir Bedar Bhutto, died at the age of 58 in Sukkur early Saturday morning after suffering from protracted illness. He had been suffering from various diseases, including liver malfunction, asthma and upset stomach, for over a year. Hailing from a small village of Ghotki, Bago Bhutto, Shabir struggled for the rights of peasants from the platform of Sindh Hari Committee and was the secretary of Sindhi Adabi Sangat’s Sukkur chapter. Shabir has left behind two wives, five sons and eight daughters. His body was shifted to his native village, Bago Bhutto, for burial. Office-bearers and members of National Press Club, Sukkur, and Sukkur Union of Journalists prayed for the departed soul.
