Changing Sides: Over two dozen activists join PPP
Those who joined PPP belonged to MQM and PTI
KARACHI:
More than two dozen activists of various political parties joined the ruling Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Saturday. Those who joined PPP belonged to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Sunni Tehreek. Addressing a press conference on Saturday along with PPP MNA Dr Shahida Rehmani, MQM Orangi sector activists Sabir Qureshi and Waqar said that more than 200 workers of the party are with them, who will start working for PPP in the area. Meanwhile, Nasir Azeem and Rana Manzoor of All Pakistan Muslim League, MQM Hyderabad unit’s activist Mohammad Yousuf Saifullah Khan and PML-N’s vice-president for Sindh are among others who have joined the party.
