Morgan Freeman attends Ashura ceremony in London

Twitter seems to be really appalled

Multiple photos have surfaced on social media showing Hollywood Academy Award winner, Morgan Freeman, attending a commemoration ceremony for Shia Muslims in London.



Freeman was seen sitting on the floor surrounded by worshipers during the Ashura ceremony which marks the death of Imam Hussain.

He was attending the ceremony at Al-Khoi Foundation in London at Queen's Park as part of his documentary series, The Story of God with Morgan Freeman. It was premiered last April and was there to explore different cultures to uncover the meaning of religion and life.
