YouTube video of the day: Seeing dead people at FiLums
Badly done horror moves always do the trick. Thumbs up for the effort!
Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) Media and Art Society organised the annual LUMS International Film Festival (FiLums) 2011 giving budding film makers from across the globe a chance to show off their talent.
The festival featured 130 short, feature-length and animated films and documentaries. This year the festival also saw entries coming in from France, India, Germany, Turkey, England etc.
The video picked here is a short horror film that is so clichéd, it makes you want to hold your head and weep, but then again some of us love horribly done movies. From horrible accents to a tired story line about a boy who starts seeing ghosts after visiting a doctor, the film is a decent effort for a young and inexperienced cast. It was also nominated for Best Direction and Screenplay, and won a special appreciation award.
Video rating: Thumbs up for the effort!
