Muharram plan: CM Shehbaz orders stringent security
The CM said no stone should be left unturned for the protection of life and property of people on Muharram 9 and 10

Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has ordered the provincial cabinet committee on law and order to fully implement the security plan chalked out for Muharram majalis and processions. In a handout issued on Monday, the chief minister also ordered the law enforcement agencies to discharge their duties efficiently.
Shehbaz was quoted as saying that a vigilant eye should be kept on anti-social elements and strict implementation of the code of conduct should be ensured. Indiscriminate action was also ordered to be taken against those involved in delivering provocative speeches and publication and distribution of hate material.
The CM said no stone should be left unturned for the protection of life and property of people on Muharram 9 and 10. He directed the commissioners, regional police officers, district coordination and police officers to personally supervise the security measures in their respective areas.
