Traffic dig: Asif Aijaz Shaikh replaces Amir Shaikh
Asif was serving as the DIG of the Sindh Reserve Police
KARACHI:
Asif Aijaz Shaikh, an officer of the Police Service of Pakistan, was appointed as the new Traffic deputy inspector-general (DIG) for Karachi, said a notification issued by the services, general, administration and coordination department of the Sindh government on Monday. Asif was serving as the DIG of the Sindh Reserve Police, from where he was transferred and posted as Traffic DIG for Karachi, replacing Amir Ahmed Shaikh, who is on a 120-day ex-Pakistan leave. Asif will assume the charge of the new Traffic DIG from today (Tuesday).
