At least two people committed suicide, while two others died of electrocution in different incidents on Friday.
Police said Iqbal, a resident of chak 34, consumed poison after an argument with his family over a domestic matter.
As a result, he died on the spot.
Police shifted his body to Allied Hospital for legal formalities. In another incident, a 24-year-old girl, a resident of Gobendpura, ended her life by jumping from the roof of her house after a heated argument with her parents.
Meanwhile, two chicken sellers died of electrocution within the precincts of Thikriwala police station.
Police said 30-year-old Akram and Abdur Rehman, 16, were working in their shop in Chak 66 when an electricity wire fell on them.
As a result, they were killed on the spot. Police shifted their bodies to the hospital for legal formalities.
