Promoting art: Arts council joins hands with Hungary

Initiating a collaborative effort for promoting arts and culture, Hungarian Ambassador in Pakistan Istvan Szabo held a meeting with Lahore Arts Council Executive Director Captain (retd) Atta Muhammad Khan at Alhamra Arts Council on Friday. The non-formal meeting involved a discussion on the plan to launch a joint workshop and training to provide Pakistanis with the skills to converse most famous paintings, especially by master artists, said Deputy Director Zulfiqar Zulfi. He added the agenda of the meeting also involved discussion on plans to hold joint cultural activities such as fusion music concerts, theatre plays and art exhibitions.
