Sindh is the most affected by corruption and its residents will be on the forefront fighting the corrupt rulers, said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh leader Haleem Adil Sheikh at a press conference at the Karachi Press Club on Friday. We are here to invite the people of Sindh to participate in the anti-corruption rally in Islamabad on October 30, added Sheikh. Speaking on the occasion, PTI Karachi president Firdous Shamim Naqvi said we tried all available forums and now are left with no option but to take to the streets. It seems that the current Pakistan Peoples Party government in Sindh is in league with the corruption mafia, remarked MPA Khurram Sher Zaman. Around 379 serving government officials have paid Rs1.2 billion to the National Accountability Bureau under plea bargain, he said, adding that the PTI has already submitted an adjournment motion in the Sindh Assembly to discuss the issue.
