BAHALWALPUR:
Work on computerisation of land revenue record should be expedited as it will not only modernise the system but will also protect economic rights of the citizens, said Bahawalpur Commissioner Saqib Zafar while speaking to the officials at his room through a video link to review the ongoing land record management information system on Wednesday.
Around 6,441 cases of land transfer, 728 cases of share of revenue and 371 cases of missing records of land transfer have been resolved in one month in three districts of Bahawalpur.
“All available resources will be utilised to start one-window operation at these centres to ensure state-of-the-art facilities to the visitors,” Zafar said.
He also directed the officials to provide decent and comfortable seating and drinking water facilities to visitors at the office.
