Common enemy: People of AJK stand by army, says Masood Khan
AJK President met the Defence Minister Khawaja Asif in Islamabad
Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Sardar Masood Khan has said that the people of the valley were standing by the Pakistan Army in its fight against enemies of the country.
Khan had met the Defence Minister Khawaja Asif in Islamabad on Wednesday, Radio Pakistan reported.
The AJK president said the army was responding to the unprovoked cross-border firing from India along the Line of Control in a befitting manner and that they were proud the army was always alert to protect its territory and that should convey the message of unity within our ranks to all enemies of the country.
Asif said Pakistan will continue its political and moral support to the people of Kashmiri for their right of self-determination.
On Tuesday, Indian forces fired on civilian areas in Neezapir sector of Haveli. The unprovoked, cross-border firing conducted early in the morning injured two women and a man. The injured were identified as Shamim Akhter, Noor Jan and Muhammad Din.
