Amid the controversy surrounding Pakistani artist working in India, actor Fawad Khan has been blessed with a baby girl.

The daughter was born on Tuesday, the actor's manager Hassan Khalid told The Express Tribune.

The baby is Fawad's second child with wife Sadaf Khan. The couple got married in 2005.

Last month, Indian nationalist party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) gave Pakistani actors a 48-hour ultimatum to leave India in the wake of the Uri attack in held-Jammu and Kashmir.
