LAHORE: The technical staff labour union of Pakistan Railways stopped the departure of several trains from Lahore on Tuesday in protest of non-payment of salaries.

More than 15 locomotives were grounded at the Diesel Engine Shed in Lahore by the technical staff.

The employees said that that they had not been paid their wages that were due.

The trains whose engines were grounded include The Rail-car, Fareed Express, Tezgam, Night Coach and Karakoram Express.
