A judicial magistrate sent four people, who had been arrested on charges of gambling on cricket matches, to on judicial remand on Monday. The police had arrested Muhammad Aarif, Aslam Farooq, Muhammad Zubair and Muhammad Aatif during a raid at a house in Sector E-7 on Sunday. They had also seized computer and television sets, mobile phones and Rs17,640. The suspects were produced before judicial magistrate Samia Naureen. The Kohsar police told the court they had completed investigation and requested the court to send suspects to jail on judicial custody remand.
