ISLAMABAD:
A mild earthquake of 5.4 magnitude sent a wave of panic across the capital on Saturday. The temblor, with an epicenter in Naran Valley around 150km north of Islamabad, was also felt in Rawalpindi and adjoining towns. However, there were no reports of any loss of life or damage to property. People living in a few high-rise buildings of the city panicked as the quake rattled window panes and furniture. With the stark memories of the 2005 deadly earthquake still fresh in peoples minds, a mild tremor is enough to scare them.
