ISLAMABAD:
Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Sardar Masood Khan on Friday urged the youth to connect with their counterparts in Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK) through the internet and to counter New Delhi’s propaganda.

“Now there is a competition of narratives and wars are fought in cyberspace, but our narrative is not properly presented before the world,” the former diplomat said.

He was addressing the 7th National Youth Peace Festival 2016 organised by Young Parliamentarian Forum (YPF), Chanan Development Association and Sustainable Social Development Organization (SSDO) in collaboration with APP.

The AJK president said that by becoming active on the internet, Pakistani youth would strengthen Kashmir cause. “It was the responsibility of the Pakistani nation to counter Indian propaganda over Kashmir and the youth can do this job on the social media,” he said.
