#Notovipculture: CM removes insignia from car
All the ministers and MPAs should follow traffic rules and avoid behaving like 'VIPs'
KARACHI:
Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah removed the insignia of 'chief minister' from his official Mercedes and installed a government number plate instead. Addressing the assembly session on Thursday, he said that we should get rid of VIP culture and obey the laws. He added that all the ministers and members of the provincial assembly must follow his example and get proper licence plates on their vehicles. "Yesterday, I saw the car of one of my cabinet ministers with a government flag and without a number plate," he said. "I asked him to remove the flag and follow the law." He added that all the ministers and MPAs should follow traffic rules and avoid behaving like 'VIPs'.
