LAHORE: The problem of acute water shortage at Jinnah Hospital has been resolved after the tube well supplying water to the hospital was repaired. Medical Superintendent Dr Shafqat Ali said out of the two tube wells providing water to the hospital, one had been damaged which resulted in the water shortage. To meet the required water demand, Rescue 1122 was providing water to the hospital. Ali said the out-of-order tube well had been repaired now. The tube well installed in the Burns Unit has also been connected with the main water supply line, thus three tube wells are providing water to the hospital. He hoped this would resolve the water issue permanently and the hospital would not face such problems in the future.
