This Indian guy tells us why MNS wants Fawad Khan banned
And he couldn't be more right than this
As Bollywood stands with Pakistani actors amid the MNS row, other Indians are also expressing their anger at the Indian nationalist party for wanting them banned.
A video by Spotboye shows actor-host Shardul Pandit taking a dig at party's demand by explaining exactly why Fawad Khan should be banned. "I am an Indian, and I, no we, want you out, gone and banned," Shardul says in the video.
"Dear Fawad, what were you thinking? That you're going to come to my country, become famous, earn money and live happily ever after? You're a Pakistani working in India, there will never be a happily ever after for you," he goes on to say.
Saif Ali Khan breaks silence on MNS threat to Pakistani actors
"Do you think that with your great looks, intense eyes and acting potential, you can make us fall for you? You're a Pakistani. We cannot like you. We should not like you. May be it was ok to like you earlier. But not now. Things have changed and so has our perspective," the actor-host adds.
"So what if you're doing your job sincerely which is acting? So what if you're not a politician or an ambassador of peace? So what that our celebrities haven't spoken? But I want you to speak about it and speak against it because you're a Pakistani," he says.
MNS ultimatum to Pakistani actors leaves Bollywood divided
"Did you really think that we will think of you just as an artist and not a Pakistani? How naive and trustful of you Fawad. You come from a country which is known for terrorism, politics and hatred," Shardul adds.
"Also Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Coke Studio, great TV shows and even sports but I choose to forget it. Look I am angry, we are angry and we need someone to blame. I choose to blame you because you're perfect. I had no other option," he says.
"I can't go against the notion of hate, it's trending on social media and this is my chance to show that I am a nationalist, I love my country. I am a patriot," the actor-host adds.
"Don't point out to me that multiplexes are being burnt in my country, that's just preventive. Because if I can manage to stop you from entertaining me and work in my films, my country will be safe and peaceful," Shardul says.
Salman Khan requests MNS to let ADHM, Raees release peacefully
"In fact, I can promise you that it will be safe. Everything will be fine. This is the solution," he muses. "Ban art to bring peace," Shardul questions in conclusion.
