Indian Aggression: Religious parties put up united front
The announcement was made by newly elected MYC President Sahibzada Dr Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair
LAHORE:
The Milli Yakjehti Council (MYC), an alliance of about a dozen religious parties and organisations, has announced it would stand shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces against any aggression against Pakistan. The announcement was made by newly elected MYC President Sahibzada Dr Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair at a press conference at Mansoora after the council’s elections. He said India’s threats and atrocities in Kashmiris had been fully exposed as the martyrdom of Burhan Wani had infused a new spirit among the people of Kashmir. He, however, criticised Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for not presenting solid evidence of India’s involvement in terrorism in Pakistan at the United Nations. “While India is staging new dramas every other day, Islamabad has failed to present irrefutable proof of Indian plans to the world,” he believed.
