Murder or suicide?: Undergraduate student found dead
Police have moved the body to a morgue, collected forensic evidence from the crime scene

An undergraduate student of fashion and design was found dead in Sundar under mysterious circumstances on Sunday. Shoaib Afzal, a resident of Daska in Sialkot, was living in a rented building in Bahria Town with his class fellows. On Sunday, he was found unconscious condition inside his room and shifted to a nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival. Police quoting from the medical report claimed the victim had died after swallowing poisonous pills. However, the victim’s father has accused his friends of poisoning him. Police have moved the body to a morgue, collected forensic evidence from the crime scene and recorded the statements of the witnesses. The Sundar SHO said the facts behind the death of the victim could only be ascertained after a proper autopsy and further investigations.
