No casualties: Fire breaks out in warehouse
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained

The warehouse of a factory was gutted in a fire in the Korangi Industrial Area neighbourhood on Sunday. The fire broke out at around 8:55am at a warehouse located at the ground floor of the globe-producing factory situated in Korangi. Reacting on the information, firefighters along with at least eight fire tenders reached the site and extinguished the fire with hectic efforts of five hours. According to the fire brigade spokesperson, there was no casualty but the factory owners incurred a loss of millions of rupees. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained but it is being speculated that it broke out due to short-circuiting, he added.
