Corporate Corner: Sindh Bank collaborates with 1LINK

This localised version of the debit card would reduce the outflow of foreign currency from Pakistan

KARACHI: Sindh Bank Limited has entered into an agreement with 1LINK (Guarantee) Limited for the launch of the Domestic Payment Scheme - PayPak. The signing ceremony was held at the Sindh Bank Head Office, Karachi on Sept 8, 2016.  This initiative will provide affordable, safe, and efficient alternative to the existing banked population of Sindh Bank. Azimullah Khan, acting CEO of 1LINK (Guarantee) Limited, speaking on the occasion said, “PayPak launch is a step towards achieving strategic goal of financial inclusion of unbanked and underserved population of Pakistan in the documented economy.” Sindh Bank President and CEO Tariq Ahsan also shared his views, “This localised version of the debit card would reduce the outflow of foreign currency from Pakistan.”
