Special Award: President decorates Turkish general
The NSA briefed the Turkish general about Pakistan’s efforts to promote peace, security and stability in the region
ISLAMABAD:
President Mamnoon Hussain conferred Nishan-i-Imtiaz (Military) to the Commander of the Turkish Land Forces General Salih Zeki Colak in a special ceremony at the Aiwan-e-Sadr. The President decorated General Colak in recognition of his outstanding services and contributions in strengthening relations between the armed forces of Pakistan and Turkey and for enhancing strategic cooperation between the two countries. The special investiture ceremony was attended by the Army chief General Raheel Sharif, Secretary Defence, Ambassador of Turkey and other high officials. The Turkish general also met National Security Adviser (NSA) Lt Gen (retd) Nasser Khan Janjua.
