Missing officials: MS transferred over ‘incompetence’
All were transferred and have been asked to report to the DHO’s office

Health department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) has handed over the services of the medical superintendent Women and Children Hospital Bannu removed for being an ‘incompetent administrator’. The superintendent was removed after hospital employees were found absent or were practicing privately during their duty hours. According to details, the additional deputy commissioner on a visit to the facility on September 15 found out that nurses were absent from duty but were present at their private set up. All were transferred and have been asked to report to the DHO’s office. The additional deputy commissioner also found that Dr Yasmeen, Dr Farhat Shafi, Dr Sadia Ibrar, Dr Tariq Ayub, Dr Ijaz and Dr Shafqatullah Jan posted at the hospital were absent. The salaries for all the absent doctors were deducted and a show cause notices were also served. The official notification, which was available to The Express Tribune, said that the district administration found Dr Naimatullah, the medical superintendent in charge as an incompetent administrator.
