Development: ‘Foreigners keen to invest in K-P’
Due to attractive packages announced by the provincial government,says CM

Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has said the foreign investors have shown keen interest in investing in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa due to attractive packages announced by the provincial government. This was stated in a handout issued by the CM’s Secretariat on Sunday. Khattak expressed these views during his meeting with coalition partners on Sunday. “[These packages] include 5% concession in interest rate and 25% rebate on import of machinery,” the document cited the CM as saying. Khattak said that after a long struggle the federal government has paid funds worth billions of rupees. “At least Rs20 billion were spent on debt servicing, while the remaining amount would be paid to K-P in three equal installments,” the document quoted Khattak as saying. He said the provincial government also planned to build Chashma Lift Canal Project and the federal and provincial governments would bear expenses.
