Countrywide tour: Azadi Train attracts dozens to Sialkot railway station
The trained stayed at the Sialkot station from 10am to 12pm, It then departed for Lahore

Scores of citizens came out to catch a glimpse of Jashn-i-Azadi train which made a two-hour stop at Sialkot railway station on Saturday.
Dozens of students toured the historical galleries and cultural floats aboard the train.
The six galleries included two on Pakistan Army and one each on the struggle for freedom, Pakistan Railways, Kashmir and various developments projects.
The train had started its journey on August 11 from Islamabad’s Margalla station.
Rizwan Ahmed, a student of grade 10, said he had especially enjoyed the cultural floats. “They were quite beautiful.
My friends and I saw various displays presenting culture of all provinces in the country.”

The train will reach Lahore on Sunday (today) after an hour-long stay each in Chawinda, Pasrur and Qila Sobha Singh and a night’s stay at Narowal railway station, a PR spokesman said.
The Azadi Train is a joint project of Pakistan Railways and the Ministry of Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage.
