Justice Shahid Karim of Lahore High Court on Saturday asked the chief justice to constitute a larger bench to hear a petition against Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s sit-in near the Raiwind residence of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Lawyer AK Dogar, who filed the petition, said that PTI chief Imran Khan had created a similar situation two years ago. He said that Khan had delivered hate speeches and divided the society during his anti-government sit-in in Islamabad in 2014. He said that Khan was again asking the prime minister to step down in the wake of Panama Leaks.
