Zia named non-playing captain for Davis Cup
Former Pakistan Davis Cup player Mushaf Zia has been named as the non-playing captain and coach.

Former Pakistan Davis Cup player Mushaf Zia has been named as the non-playing captain and coach for the country’s tie against Honk Kong.
Zia will join the coaching camp in Lahore with top players Aqeel Khan, while Rameez Junaid commences training later this week. Aisamul Haq Qureshi will join the squad before the Davis Cup tie.
Meanwhile, Zia’s first task will be to choose the fourth player as the trials begin with Samir iftikhar, Pakistan number two and three Jalil Khan and Yasir Khan, and junior top player Heera Ashiq fighting for a place in the team.
