ISLAMABAD:
PTI chief Imran Khan should avoid going to the United States because he would be asked to appear before courts there and also in view of his “shameful acts”, federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid said on Friday.

Urging the PTI chief to “fear God and speak only the truth”, he said Imran Khan could not travel to America and “even if he does, how could he face the Americans, because his name has (also) appeared in the (list detailing) offshore (assets).”

According to Pervaiz Rashid, American courts will call him out for his ‘Gunaah-e-Kabeera’.

Pervaiz Rashid said that because of this, the image of Pakistan and that of ordinary Pakistanis will be tarnished. “They will be … ridiculed because of Imran Khan,” he said, adding such shameful actions were not acceptable anywhere, especially in countries like the United States.

He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's name was not listed in Panama leaks. However, “names of Imran Khan and his cronies, including Jahangir Tareen, have appeared in [the list of] offshore companies”.
