LAHORE:
Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) central Punjab president Aleem Khan chaired a meeting on Friday to discuss preparations for the proposed Raiwind march.

PTI chief Imran Khan is expected to announce the date for the march on Sunday following deliberations with party and opposition leaders.

Aleem Khan told the participants that the party would mobilise its workers and activate all wings ahead of the march. “Lahore has always supported the PTI. Its people will not disappoint us.” He said people had lost faith in the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) for its failure to honour promises it had made. “People’s support for the government has dropped. They are forced to look towards the army for solution to their problems,” he said.
