LAHORE:
Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday adjourned a petition against the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s (PTI) proposed sit-in in Raiwind as no one appeared on behalf of the party and the federal government.
Advocate AK Dogar had filed the petition submitting that PTI chief Imran Khan had resorted to agitation and hate speech resulting in hostility among various sections of the society.
He requested that Khan be stopped from marching on Jati Umra, the residence of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. When no one showed up for arguments, the judge set the next hearing on September 19.
