At Cattle Market: Four arrested, fake currency seized
The police arrested Liaqat Khan and confiscated the fake currency notes and have started an investigation

The capital police have arrested four persons for using fake currency notes. SHO Inspector Khalid Awan told The Express Tribune on Monday that Nazir Ahmad and Muzaffar Khan had lodged a complaint with the help desk set up by the capital police in the cattle market that Liaqat Khan purchased an ox from them by paying Rs92,000. The currency notes turned out to be fake. The police arrested Liaqat Khan and confiscated the fake currency notes and have started an investigation. Meanwhile, the Kohsar Police have arrested three persons — Wahid, Zahid and Kazim -- for possessing fake Afghani currency and registered a case against them.
