Youth urged to benefit from technology

“Google provides opportunities for people who want to learn new things using technology," says UET VC

LAHORE: “Google provides opportunities for people who want to learn new things using technology. Information technology is dominating all skills and changing the world’s dynamics rapidly, University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Vice Chancellor Fazal Ahmad Khalid said on Saturday. “To compete in the world, the youth must be equipped with modern techniques,” Khalid said while speaking to a Google team from Singapore that visited the university. The visit concluded with a lecture for students interested in designing, developing and monetising content for web and mobile phones.

Google South Asia Web Manager Waqas Burney and Apps Manager Ahmad Nawaz were among the guest speakers. They talked about web designing, app development, blogging and content writing.
