KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) runner up candidate for PS-127, Waseem Ahmed, moved on Saturday the Sindh High Court (SHC) against Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) successful candidate, Ghulam Muratza Baloch. Ahmed filed a petition with the SHC seeking that the notification declaring Baloch successful should be stopped as he was challenging his victory in an election tribunal. Ahmed’s lawyers said their voters were harassed, while their client was not given the ‘Form 14’ of 52 polling stations where the PPP candidate formed a dramatic lead, they added.
