Judicial Remand: Ex-WWB officials handed to NAB
NAB prosecutor Hasnain Tariq argued the suspect had misused their authority
PESHAWAR:
An accountability court handed over former officials of Workers Welfare Board on a 14-day judicial remand to National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Saturday. The former officials, including former director Anwar Majeed and former member Shah Imroz, were produced before accountability court judge Muhammad Asim Imam. NAB prosecutor Hasnain Tariq argued the suspect had misused their authority and recruited around 24,052 employees illegally in Nowshera, Kohat and other districts, during their service. He said the recruited people did not have the required credentials.
