RAWALPINDI:
The Rawalpindi police under its ongoing drive against anti-social elements have arrested 22 law-breakers. The police also recovered 4,340 grams of hashish, 225 litres of liquor, five 30-bore pistols with 20 rounds and a dagger from their possession, a police spokesman said on Friday.

The airport police held Muhammad Azad with 200 grams of hashish, Haroon with 720 grams of hashish, and Waqas Naeem with 1100 grams of hashish.

The Saddar Wah police arrested Mehboob Elahi with 1,135 grams of hashish and Aftab with 1,185 grams of hashish.

The Ganjmandi police nabbed Shamoon, Shahid and Sajid Maish and recovered 180 litres of liquor from their possesion.


The Bani police apprehended Haroon Masih with five litres of liquor. The Naseerabad police recovered 10 litres of liquor from Shamraiz Akhtar and 30 litres of liquor from Jand.

Meanwhile, the Sadiqabad police arrested Muhammad Amjad, Ishaq Maish and a woman from Kuri Road for allegedly involved in immoral activities. Separate cases have been registered.
