LAHORE:
Lahore High Court (LHC) issued a notice on Thursday on an application seeking directions to stop Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan from leading a rally to Jati Umra, Raiwind, the residence of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The court sought replies from the government and Khan until September 15.
One Farooq Sattar had moved the application. He had already moved a petition against the 2014 sit-in by the PTI.
AK Dogar, counsel for the petitioner, accused the PTI leader of hate speech which he said was resulting in hostility among various sections of the society. He requested that Khan be stopped from marching on Jati Umra.
