ATTOCK:
A man has appealed to the Prime Minister and the Punjab Chief Minister to take notice of the alleged negligence of the doctors at the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Hazro for not providing timely treatment to his 23-year-old brother diagnosed with Congo virus.

Muhammad Waqas, the brother of the patient Zulfiqar, said that his brother was admitted at the hospital in Hazro for two days and later on referred to Holy Family Hospital in Rawalpindi when his condition deteriorated.

Waqas alleged that he brought doctor’s negligence into the notice of the MS of the hospital but to no avail, adding that his brother was referred only when he started bleeding. To add insult to injury, he said, they had to wait for the ambulance till evening and ultimately shifted the patient in a private vehicle.

He has requested the PM and Punjab CM to take notice of the incident, order action against the officials concerned.
